We're (probably not) All Going on a Summer Holiday
It did all seem too good to be true, that my horrible temp job should finish at just the same time as The Architect leaves his job in preparation for starting his new one and that we should both have a free week to go on holiday. Bastard schoolchildren, with their grotty little half term week hiking up the prices of any kind of abroadness in that very same week when we want to go away. Even if I did want to go to Ayia Napa (which I really, really don't) I'd find 500 quid per person absolutely outrageous. And the Amalfi coast (which is where I really do want to go) is at pie-in-the-sky dreamland levels costwise at the moment. I haven't had a proper holiday in over 3 years and if I weren't so fed up I think I'd have a tantrum. Bugger. |
