Hi Diddly Dee, an Actor's Life for Me
"Those who agree with us may not be right, but we admire their astuteness."
Cullen Hightower
Well, I'm back! I'm unemployed and currently have a great big hole in my sitting room floor - so all is quite normal in Katja-world again... Hope everyone had a great Christmas and that 2005 is good so far. I'm getting to grips with actually having some time at home for the first time in a month or so and it's rather nice, I have to say! Now if I could just work out a way of earning some money without having to leave the house that would be just perfect ;o)

(4.1.05 14:40) Sexline operator.... Market researcher... Welcome back, hope something comes up soon! |
(4.1.05 15:19) I've actually just resigned from the sexline hehehe! I'm thinking maybe proofreader... |
(4.1.05 20:36) Proofreading is very dull and not well paid. Get working on your novel or the play ... the world is waiting for your output! Nice to have you back - Happy New Year. |
(4.1.05 21:57) Now there's a top idea - I shall write a wonderful play starring me and all my friends - and there will be nary a 7-foot goose in sight... |
(5.1.05 21:26) No part for me then ... *sulk* |
(5.1.05 21:46) Well if you really WANT to play the goose then I shall write it in especially for you, my sweet! |
(6.1.05 20:32) Will you? Will you? WILL YOU REALLY? *hops up and down with glee* *gazes adoringly with big puppy-dog eyes* "Honk! Honk!" ... just learning my lines ... |
(7.1.05 00:13) You're not going to upstage me, are you? *eyes Tristan suspiciously* *melts at the sight of a hangdog 7-foot goose* Oh, all right then - you might even get a special goosey dance... |
(7.1.05 20:24) *tippy-tap, tippy-tap, tatap-tap tap* "HONK! HONK!" *bows* |
(10.1.05 01:26) You're just showing off now... *stamps foot in luvvy-ish strop* MY limelight! |
(10.1.05 22:42) *ignores the hissy fit and sings happily ...* "There's snow-goose business like show goose business!" |
(11.1.05 14:07) Right! *scribbles furiously on script* Mmmm...roast goose... |
(11.1.05 20:53) Oh no! My goose is cooked! No more treading the boards on the World Wide Web-foot ... I shall go cold turkey ... *does a histrionic howl worthy of the Great Gambon* |
(12.1.05 10:34) Wow! I'm writing you back in... Have you ever thought about playing a romantic heroine, Tristan?! . . . . . . Teehee |
(12.1.05 20:37) *silhouetted agaist a blazing sunset* "Tomorrow is another day ..."
(13.1.05 10:19) *sniff* Darling, that was FABULOUS. I'm all choked up! |
(13.1.05 21:54) Too kind. *flutters lashes modestly* |
(14.1.05 12:46) So...this is all working out fantastically. If you're playing the female romantic lead then that leaves me free to play the scheming seductress - which is what I wanted to play anyway - hurrah! . . . . . Now, who shall we get in to play the love-interest? I wonder if Mr Depp is free... |
(14.1.05 23:34) *descends staircase, gazing manically into the distance as flashbulbs bulbs pop all around him ... er ... HER* "I'm ready for my close-up, Mr DeMille ... " |
