Hi Diddly Dee, an Actor's Life for Me
"Those who agree with us may not be right, but we admire their astuteness."
Cullen Hightower
Hohoho. Anyone else see this story in Metro this morning? Hilarious - although I think describing someone who likes David Gray as a 'music fan' may be erroneous.

(8.5.06 11:39) That's ridiculous...and what's wrong with David Gray? ;D |
(8.5.06 11:43) It's fashionable to knock Gray, but that 'White Ladder' had some cracking songs on it. He's suffered from shifting too many copies. Not, I suspect, that he's bothered. |
(8.5.06 11:55) Dr T - His bed made of of money seems to have done something to his neck though, he's got that weird wobbly head syndrome. He ought to be a bit bothered by that. |
(8.5.06 11:58) Yeah, I think he's had some good tracks, but I can't imagine ever playing them near that loud, there much more for quiet grumpiness, or is that just me? |
(8.5.06 12:00) Jef- Ohhhh yesh. amp- Certainly. And only about once a year. |
(8.5.06 12:01) He won't be bothered he's shaken his head about so much, I doubt he can even remember his name... |
(8.5.06 12:06) Doc, yes, and even then accompanied by a strong drink and a headace. |
Katja / Website (8.5.06 12:08) Ooh, some Gray fans coming out of the woodwork. I've never liked him, personally - just call me a trendsetter. |
(8.5.06 12:22) He hasn't done anything good since, mind. |
Katja / Website (8.5.06 12:28) I've got a bone to pick with you, Doc. I've had bloody 'Dear Jessie' going round my head since last week. Help me! |
(8.5.06 12:34) No problem: Baby face don't grow so fast Make a special wish that will always last Rub this magic lantern He will make your dreams come true for you Ride the rainbow to the other side Catch a falling star and then take a ride To the river that sings and the clover that Brings good luck to you, it's all true Pink elephants and lemonade, dear Jessie Hear the laughter running through the love parade Candy kisses and a sunny day, dear Jessie See the roses raining on the love parade If the land of make believe Is inside your heart it will never leave There's a golden gate where the fairies all wait And dancing moons, for you Close your eyes and you'll be there Where the mermaids sing as they comb their hair Like a fountain of gold you can never grow old Where dreams are made, your love parade Pink elephants and lemonade, dear Jessie Hear the laughter running through the love parade Candy kisses and a sunny day, dear Jessie See the roses raining on the love parade Your dreams are made inside the love parade It's a holiday inside the love parade On the merry-go-round of lovers and white turtle doves Leprechauns floating by, this is your lullaby Sugarplum fingertips kissing your honey lips Close your eyes sleepy head, is it time for your bed Never forget what I said, hang on you're already there Close your eyes and you'll be there Where the mermaids sing as they comb their hair Like a fountain of gold you can never grow old Where dreams are made, your love parade Pink elephants and lemonade, dear Jessie Hear the laughter running through the love parade Candy kisses and a sunny day, dear Jessie See the roses raining on the love parade |

(8.5.06 12:38) Aargh!! I'll get you next time, Gadget... |
(8.5.06 14:35) whats with knocking dave - i think hes great x |
(8.5.06 14:37) P loves him. I took her to see a concert in Dublin (where he is bewilderingly popular). Turns out he was staying in the same hotel and I did that thing where you see a familiar face, can't place it so you great them warmly but rush past so that you don't have a conversation which will rapidly expose the fact you've forgotten their name. "Hi Mate, gotta go, scuse me". Concert was deafening and I got a migraine and woke up grumpy. I began to explain to P over breakfast that I thought him grossly overrated when she pointed out that he was sat 1 foot away from me at the next table. I am sure I'm now on some bodyguard's crush and splinter list. |

(8.5.06 15:10) Great story, Moobs. My ma nearly did the same thing at a horse show many years ago. Luckily, before she opened her mouth to speak to the woman that she was convinced she knew, her friend alerted her to the fact that it was the Queen... |
